Bobcats Beat Aransas Pass  (4/15) 10-0 in 5-Inning Game

The Refugio Bobcats appeared to be priming for a serious playoff run Tuesday night when they easily handled the Panthers.  Quintanilla was outstanding, striking out 12 and allowing only one hit.  On Friday the Bobcats take on winless Bloomington, then close out the seson against a young, ambitious Tidehaven team.  Stay tuned.  Things could get VERY interesting.

Our favorite pitcher is also our favorite quarterback:

Woodsboro Lady Eagles Atop District 31A

In a non-district contest the Ladies defeated John Paul II, 10-0, with Jamie Wilson notching her 16th win of the season (3 losses).  The Lady Eagles are 16-4 preparing for the playoffs.

Taylor Perez and Toni Martinez each drove in three runs in the romp over John Paul II.

Both the girls and boys of Woodsboro easily won the Area Track and Field team title (each team scoring 162 points). The Area competition featured teams from District 31-1A and District 32-1A.
